Why can’t I add hourly rates to staff members?

Our software doesn't support payrates for employees that utilize the Mariana Tek time clock. This is by design. Given that people clocking in & out are paid hourly, we aggregate the total number of hours such that your payroll provider (or accountant) can correctly calculate gross pay, overtime hours, etc.

We recommend storing the hourly rates of your hourly employees in your payroll provider, and then using our summary report to feed the total number of hours into your payroll provider’s software.
